29 Introvert Memes That Accurately Depict the Desire to be Alone (December 1, 2024)
Welcome back internet enthusiasts and introverts alike. These days, social battery is real. When you don't feel like going out and seeing friends, you can become more of a menace to the people around you than is worth it. For some people, it could be difficult to cancel plans, and the feeling of obligation may leave someone with hues of guilt creating the color palette of their mind and heart. As an introvert myself, I am all too aware of the guilty feelings when you don't show up to plans you feel obligated to go to. When you're the one being bailed on and you actually planned your night around the meeting, it can feel rude and selfish for someone else to cancel on you. But let's face it, we all cancel plans here and there, and it's also part of life.
Despite heavy feelings of guilt and obligation as an introvert, sometimes that feeling to be alone in bed can overpower everything. There should never be shame about it either, and listening to yourself to avoid these subtle cues at coveted solitude will only leave the person you're with wishing they didn't meet with you at all. So enjoy these introvert memes and don't be afraid to cancel plans.
